Commemorative Souvenir Book of our 2011 Triple Champion

As part of the plan to generate funds for the St. George’s College Sports Council, a Commemorative Souvenir Book of our 2011 Triple Champion feat is well in an advanced implementation stage.

The book size is 9 x 9 inches with approximately 54 pages of text, facts and photographs surrounding the achievements of the 2011 Football team.

It is printed in full colour, square bound with a UV coated cover.

The purpose is to generate funds for the Sports Council for use in the school sporting programs. We will also get revenue from the STGC Sports Academy which is run by Coach Neville Bell. This project is off to a roaring start as in week two, the number of participants doubled to some 50 children last Saturday morning.

Please find as an attachment, the final contract for emailing. You will notice that the inside covers have been sold (one really on hold). Mr. Tony Wong has brought on board Karen Phillips (from CGR) whose experience in gaining advertisements and collecting is well known. Her costs are based on percentage of collections and a standard fee. Negotiations are still in progress. We now have three of the most experienced people in the business. These are; Mark Weinberger, Designer, Leisha Wong, Editorial, (they both produce the Sky writings and Liguanea Art Festival, amongst others) and Karen Phillips, Advertisements.

Now, the bulk of the revenue from this book will come from advertisements. So, it is very imperative that we maximize this aspect of the project
