Georgians & Families Celebrate Mass

On Sunday, May 27 at Thornhill Community Centre, Georgians and their families gathered to celebrate Mass officiated by Fr. William Mbugua SJ and Deacon Peter Rickards.

Mass was followed by a sumptuous buffet lunch prepared by John Flynn, Director STGC | OBA Ontario Board, and Executive Chef, Delta Hotels.

Special guest speaker was Jezeel Martin, St. George’s College Head boy, who gave a stirring speech that inspired the entire crowd.

Other features of the day included a bursary awarded to Matthew Palomino, son of St. George’s College Old Boys’ Association Ontario Chapter Director, Benito Palomino; and the granting to Uncle P Ferguson the Robbie Vernon Award for outstanding service to the Ontario Chapter.
