Welcome Class of 2028

St. George’s College Welcomes Our First Formers, STGC Class 2028
The Holy Trinity Cathedral rocked this afternoon as we welcomed the young Knights in style.
Mrs. Margaret Campbell, long serving Principal welcomed the new comers. She acknowledged the important role of parents and guardians in development of their sons.
In his homily, Fr. Rohan Tulloch, Board Chairman encouraged the parents keep supporting their sons. He spoke about the ‘good life’ which he he describes as predisposition of allowing and trusting the Lord to guide and help us in our daily struggles. “We are all imperfect and the Lord accepts as we are”. He reminded the parents that school is not entirely about academics but include other aspects of development; caring, generosity, a spirit of community and decency. He encourage the newcomers to take advantage of the opportunities now open to them. “St George’s College is a caring community and we have programs to support those who need a little help”.
The service was one of praise and worship with the Catholic Youth Choir guiding the celebration.
