STGC Lacrosse Opener

The STGC lacrosse team’s season opener was played yesterday, January 13, 2024 against Campion College.The final score was STGC(9) – Campion (0).

Our defenders were spectacular! Five players scored in this match: Dominic Foster, Vashel McKinley, Joel Hardware(2), Alexander Richards(2) and D’Andrae McKenzie(3).

We also played an exhibition match against newcomers Thompson Town High, with our younger players being joined by three young Calabar High players. The match was won 5-2, with our boys scoring 3 of the 5 goals. The goal scorers were: Jonathan Carroo, Alex Grant and Dondre Davis.

Out next match is Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 1:00 pm at St. Hugh’s High school. We play Thompson Town High School.
