KINGSTON, Jamaica — Former President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Ian Forte, OJ, CD, died at his home early Friday morning. He was 89.

Justice Forte, a graduate of St. George’s College Class of 1952 and an inductee of the St. George’s College Hall of Fame, was widely regarded as one of Jamaica’s most respected and influential judicial figures.
